First Baptist Church of Elmore City is located in the heart of Garvin County. We are a member of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma and the Arbuckle Baptist Association grounded in Southern Baptist beliefs.

The history of our church is a true testimony to the determination and faithfulness of God’s people. FBC was originally founded in 1920 with the joining of two churches, Rock Creek Church and Emmanuel Baptist Church. After sharing the Gospel from one small building for many years, a new church was built in November of 1952. Being blessed by God, we soon expanded even more with growth in all directions. Over the years, the Lord granted us increases not only in baptisms and member count, but also in physical stature. Through God’s direction, we’ve built new classrooms, a new sanctuary, and now a Family Life Center. Our congregation currently consists of well over 1,000 members. Yet, we are still your hometown church with a church family that continues to reach out to others within the community and beyond!
